Satellite InSAR
Displacement & Deformation Monitoring

Detecting millimeter scale ground movement from space.

CurvAero provides satellite based displacement and deformation analysis using Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (InSAR). InSAR enables the detection of subtle surface movement across large areas without requiring continuous ground instrumentation.

Where ground stability is critical

Monitoring for sites that cannot afford to move

Our analyses can support infrastructure monitoring, mining operations, tailings facilities, landslide assessment, subsidence studies, construction monitoring, dams, geothermal fields, and other applications where ground stability is critical.

Applications

  • apartmentInfrastructure monitoring
  • landscapeMining operations
  • layersTailings facilities
  • landslideLandslide assessment
  • vertical_align_bottomSubsidence studies
  • constructionConstruction monitoring
  • waterDams
  • volcanoGeothermal fields

Methodologies

Depending on the project, CurvAero can apply advanced methodologies to identify both gradual and accelerating deformation.

What we deliver

From satellite radar to millimeter scale answers

map

Displacement maps

Measured ground movement mapped across the area of interest over the monitoring period.

crisis_alert

Hotspot identification

Areas moving faster than their surroundings, located and flagged for attention.

speed

Deformation velocity analysis

Rates of movement, typically in millimeters per year, mapped across the site.

trending_up

Trend and acceleration analysis

Whether deformation is steady or accelerating, read from its trend over time.

timeline

Time-series monitoring

The displacement history of each measurement point: when movement started and how it has developed.
